Taking the TCF Canada in Douala

Douala has centres that hold the TCF Canada (listed below, with their status). As everywhere, dates, prices and seats are given by the centre itself, and it is best to book your session several weeks ahead.

Preparing while you work

Many candidates in Douala prepare for the TCF alongside their job. A schedule that works:

  • On weekdays: 30 to 45 minutes a day, one section at a time (listening in the morning, reading in the evening).
  • At weekends: one full timed section, then the correction.
  • Every two weeks: a full mock exam to follow your estimated level.

Online practice saves travel: it works on a phone or a computer, at the times that suit you.

Good to know

  • For German, our data shows that the Douala centre offers courses but that Goethe exams are taken in Yaoundé: check with the Goethe-Institut before registering.
  • Keep your results safe: for Express Entry, they must be less than two years old when you apply.
