The TEF Canada is the Paris Île-de-France CCI's French test accepted by IRCC for Express Entry. You take it at an approved centre, which sets its dates and fees.

  1. Find an approved centre

On the official website, enter the city or country, the test type and your preferred date, then search.

  5. Pay the fee

Each centre sets its fee. Without payment your registration is not final; once made, it is firm and non-refundable.

Advised lead time

The official website advises registering as early as possible.

Our advice: choose your session 2 to 3 months before the date you need (application, admission) and register as soon as it opens: seats go fast.

Retaking the exam

The same TEF section (any version) cannot be taken again within 20 days.
