Centres publish their sessions a few weeks ahead. As soon as a date is checked on the centre's official page, we write to you.

The steps in short

  1. Find an approved centre

    On the official website, enter the city or country, the test type and your preferred date, then search.

  2. Pre-register

    Contact the centre or pre-register by clicking "CHOOSE". You receive an e-mail to activate your candidate account (registrations, certificates, appeals).

  3. Register for every part

    For the TEF Canada, register for all the parts your application needs in the same session. Minimum age: 16; no diploma required.

  4. Give your ID

    At registration, give a photo ID, the same one used for your immigration application.

  5. Pay the fee

    Each centre sets its fee. Without payment your registration is not final; once made, it is firm and non-refundable.

  6. Receive your notice

    Once your registration is validated, the centre e-mails you the details. No news a week before? Check your spam folder or contact the centre.
